Chester- There is a wealth of things to do in the Roman City of Chester which can be seen on foot, because of the amazing survival of the old city wall. If you want some peace and quiet there is plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air and nature. Bring a picnic and sit by the lake which is home to a range of water birds including great crested grebes and coots.
